What is Kangatraining ?
Kangatraining is a babywearing dance based postnatal workout program, designed specifically for postnatal mums.
Kangatraining is unique in that babies are an integral part of the workout and they spend most of their time close to mum in a supportive baby carrier such as the Manduca.
We know that mums have different fitness levels and different physical limitations (eg diastasis recti, pubic symphysis pain, coccyx pain, etc), and all exercises can be modified to suit these different needs.
It is a gentle and safe workout that focuses on restrengthening the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, all while having a fun and relaxed time with other mums.
What is Kangatrail?
KangaTrail is for mums and their children that love walking, talking and exercising all at the same time! This class takes you on various child friendly hiking tracks around Ballarat with short exercise intervals that concentrate on your thighs, buttock, abdominals and your pelvic floor. It’s an effective way to increase your cardiovascular endurance while working on those ‘beloved’ areas of your body and it’s low impact which means the entire class is safe for your pelvic floor ! Woohooo
Mums without a child can also participant in KangaTrail as it’s still an ideal workout to get results .
KangaTrail is definitely more than just a walk with your children .
What is KangaOnWheel ?
A KangaOnWheel workout is perfect for the being out and about in the fresh air! You get to exercise while your baby (or toddler) enjoys the entertainment and comfort of their own stroller. Soap bubbles, puppets, children´s songs, healthy snacks and an exciting workout keep babies happy while the workout keeps you moving! Weather permitting, KangaOnWheel classes are held in parks, gardens or anywhere stroller friendly!
What is KangaMix ?
KangaMix is our flexible Outdoor Program. Your Kangatrainer has her choice between following classes:
KangaOnWheel – workout with baby in the pram
KangaTrail – hiking with your baby
Kangatraining - your original Kangatraining workout in the great outdoors or inside if weather is not ideal !
The structure of these classes can be ‘mixed’ together to incorporate elements of different workouts OR switch the entire workout them from one week to another. Core control, cardiovascular endurance and functional strength are the focus of KangaMix. We want to improve the ‘daily life’ with your baby.
